In Flamboyant Magazine I showcase a number of creatives from all around the world. What's special about these artists is that they all distance their work from the conventional notions of beauty. Flamboyant Magazine celebrates the idea that what's beautiful is boring, and what's ugly or grotesque is interesting!
The editorial design of this issue is strongly inspired by chaos and grotesqueness. Throughout the design process my intention was to challenge the reader in terms of chaotic and unconventional content design. I deliberately broke free from the constraints of traditional graphic design rules, opting instead to push the boundaries and experiment. As a result, the magazine features elements like unorthodox fonts, a deliberate lack of readability, and visual effects.
